FAQs
Can you layer printable HTV?
Printable HTV cannot be layered. For more complex designs, we recommend investing in specialized printing equipment.
Can you machine wash this printable HTV?
To preserve the design, you should hand-wash your garments and hang them to dry. For best results, make sure that your garments are clean, dry and lint-free before applying heat transfer vinyl. Do not dry clean or use fabric softener after vinyl application.
Can you press the designs right after printing them?
Printable HTV is coated with a special solvent that allows the inks from your printer to fully transfer to the vinyl. Even though the sheet may appear dry because it doesn’t smudge, you should allow a minimum of 5-10 minutes of drying time to allow the solvent layer to evaporate completely. This ensures that the ink will not accidentally come up when you apply heat.
