Oraguard 210 vs Oraguard 215

Oracal offers several different laminates and you may be wondering which one will be best for your projects. Oraguard 210 and Oraguard 215 are both popular laminates. But knowing which one to purchase and what the difference between the two is can be a little bit frustrating.

The most noticeable difference between the two is the thickness. Oraguard 210 is 2.50mm and Oraguard 215 is 2.75mm. The Oraguard 210 is a medium-term laminate with an outdoor durability of 4-years. The Oraguard 215 is a medium to long-term laminate with an outdoor durability of 5-years. They both offer a high level of UV protection.

Some people equate quality with quantity. The heavier “feel” of a sticker when using the Oraguard 215 laminate may appeal to your customer. Others may not notice the difference and like the Oraguard 210 laminate just as well or better.

Both of these laminates are fantastic products. The Oraguard 210 laminate is a great balance between durability and price. If your prints need increased thickness and longer-lasting protection, then the Oraguard 215 laminate may suit your projects best.
